Morning Wing Flap

Morning Wing Flap

One of the many many Double-Crested Cormorants this morning. This one had just surfaced from a dive and flapped its wings to dry off a bit before taking off a few moments later. The morning was dead calm and the water was super flat. This lovely foreground was thanks to all the bubbles on the surface of the water and some morning sun back-light. Taken at Heislerville Wildlife Management Area in Maurice River, New Jersey.
